13th March 2016 Ground hugging mist.

0/00

Sunday 13th 28F, -2C, light breeze, 100 yard mist, overcast. Yet again  we are warned to expect a warm weekend with possible sunshine. It is now 10am and it has just reached freezing point with slightly thinner mist. My walk was without noticeable incident apart from the absence of views. The bare ground just firm enough not to be too sticky. A light hoar frost clung to taller grasses, hedges and weeds. While the fields had a brighter line just above the surface, when seen from afar, suggestive of ground hugging mist.

Busy with a project at home so another rest day.
